As some of you know we are expecting our first KENEDIK Baby here in a few months. My wife and I have been out looking for baby clothes and all I can say is that there aren’t enough cool clothes out there for boys. So, we’ve decided to make them.

Above is our first kids/baby design, a long-sleeved punk-rock-inspired-leather-jacket tee we screen printed in the studio last week. You’ll notice the checkered shirt that will go with his future checkered Vans and a few button badges for our side project KBC and a fake baby-inspired punk rock band called The Cribs. We look forward to coming up with more designs for Baby KENEDIK in the future. Let us know if you’re interested in your own KENEDIK/KBC tee.

As we close up shop for the holidays, we wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for helping make 2009 a great year! As we look back, we worked on many cool projects, built relationships with great new clients, and took some time off to energize and explore the Caribbean by sea and the beautiful coast of California by convertible. All in all, a pretty fun and interesting year of opportunities and challenges.

As we look forward, we’re excited about new relationships, new equipment to master, and new projects that can stretch our creative muscles in what we do here at KENEDIK and Cameraluv. We’re most excited about our next project, the KENEDIK Baby, due to rock our world at the end of May 2010.

All the best from us here at KENEDIK. Have a Merry Christmas and we’ll see you back in the New Year!

This homage to the Neutraface typeface was inspired in part by the song Poker Face by Lady GaGa. It was created by Jason Kinney, Tristan Bynum, Forrest Martin and Mark Searcy. The actual true pronunciation that most people are unaware of is “NOYtra,” not “NEWtra.” It doesn’t really matter, the guys did an awesome job. Enjoy.

The space boast over 10,000 sq. feet of interesting products, food, sculptures and art. From the minute you see the vine-covered store-front and hovering neon crown logo, you know it will be a unique experience. On our recent trip to Southern California we were able to take in the “I Can’t Feel My Face” exhibit curated by KAWS, from the collection of Susan Hancock. There was a smile at every turn as we took in everything the space had to offer from fun cupcake and sushi-inspired hats in the shop to the interactive Port-a-Party pod in the back of the space.

Occasionally, Royal/T rents out their space for a variety of dramatic and unique events like parties, private dinners, weddings, meetings, lectures, film screenings and more. Make Royal/T a stop the next time you’re in the LA area, you won’t be disappointed.

Last weekend’s Canvas 5-Tampa art show on October 16, 2009, boasted over 34 exhibiting artists (including Cameraluv), great live music, a large turnout and great coffee. We met some great new friends from St. Pete, Tampa and Orlando. We were also able to unveil our new Cameraluv-themed skateboard decks which came out pretty nice. We are especially in love with our West Coast Polaroid Board that features a collage of our pictures we captured in our recent trip up the California Coast. All in all it was a successful event for us. We sold a few pieces and got the word out about our obsessive side project Cameraluv.

Check out our Cameraluv Store to purchase our available skateboard decks, canvases, prints, bags and buttons.
